Isang masarap na pambaon ang CHICKEN PIE. At pwede mo rin itong pagkakitaan habang nasa bahay ka. Maaari mo itong gawing " MADE TO ORDER" para sa iyong mga kapitbahay, ka-opisina, kaibigan o iba pang kakilala. Ito ang paraan
para lutuin ang masarap na dessert na ito.
Ito ang mga sangkap na kakailanganin:
¼ cup butter or margarine
2 cloves minced garlic
1 medium onion, diced
2 tbsps. Chopped celery
1 cup diced carrot
¼ cup flour
1 tbsp. seasoning (e.g Maggi) salt and pepper to taste
½ cup chicken broth
2 cups cooked, diced chicken meat
1 cup frozen peas
2 eggs, beaten
Pastry Crust:
2 ¼ cups flour
¾ cup shortening
1 tbsp. seasoning, mixed with
2-4 tbsps. Cold water
Handa na ba ang mga sangkap? Heto na ang paraan ng
pagluluto:
Heat butter or margarine in pan. Saute garlic and onion.
Stir in celery, carrot, flour, and seasoning. Stir and cook a few minutes then
pour in milk-broth mixture. Stir to blend. Bring to simmer then add chicken and
peas. Cook a few minutes. Let cool and stir in beaten eggs. Set aside and
prepare crust. Preheat oven to 425F.
Put flour in a bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture
resembles coarse meal. Toss in seasoning and water mixture. Gather dough with
hand and divide into two parts with one part smaller than the other. Roll out
the bigger portion to line a 9-inch pie plate.
Pour chicken mixture onto prepared pastry; roll out
remaining dough and place over dish. Fold edges to fit the dish and flute.
Brush with mik. Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 mins. Or until crust is
golden brown.
O ano na? Tara na sa kusina at simulan na ang paggawa ng
isang masarap na Chicken Pie.
